In case you thought Memorial Day was about a day off, getting to go to the beach/on vacation, BBQ, etc. It's not. It's about remembering and honoring the 1,319,943+ Military Men and Women that have given their lives so that we can be free. So that we can go to the beach, BBQ, etc on this day. So that we (this nation) can do all the things that we are currently doing.

The title in and of its self may be to you exactly what this post is about. So why not just dive right in!

Jargon is defined as:
special words or expressions that are used by a particular profession or group and are difficult for others to understand.

Many professions use this type of langue every day when speaking to someone outside of that profession and think nothing of it. Me, however, I want you to know what I'm talking about when I say things like Findings, hemp, resin, etc. So I'm gonna give you a small definition of the most common terms that I use. :)

Findings: Clasps 
Jump rings: those little ring like things you see between the chain of a necklace/bracelet and the clasp.
Hemp: the cannabis plant, especially when grown for its fiber.the fiber of the cannabis plant, extracted from the stem and used to make rope, stout fabrics, fiberboard, and paper. (no, you cannot get high off of hemp)

If I should think of anything else that may not be common terms, I will add to this blog.

Well hello Everyone! I know it has been a while since I last blogged, and I apologize for that. I have been rather busy getting products uploaded to the site, as well as producing more to sell. I hope to have all of my available products uploaded to the site by the end of the week. :)

In other news, Unique You Creations will be 'closed' from 2pm Tuesday, May 16th through Friday, May 25th, as I will be on Vacation. Therefore, any orders placed after 2pm on Tuesday, May 16th will not be mailed until Friday, May 25th.
